Harley F. Thomas August 15, 1956- February 12, 2016. The world has lost an incredible man today. He was a loving husband, amazing father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother and an irreplaceable friend. He was the type of man that would give a stranger the shirt off his back so they would be warm. In life he enjoyed many things like watching Nascar, rooting for his favorite football team, golf, and working on cars. Creating wonderful memories with his family and friends was the most important thing to him. He would throw the biggest bonfires where we would all gather around, have some good food and talk about old time. He loved to scuba dive with his buddy Mike McIlroy. He was a prankster that loved playing jokes with his friends at SunRype Fruit where he worked for many years. He is survived by his wife, Donna Thomas; children: Kimberley and Anthony Leavitt, Sandra Thomas, Glenda and Jose Jensen. Grandchildren: Vincent Valencia and Lowella Miller, Phoebe and Paige Leavitt, Alexander Maldonado; great grandson Dante Valencia. Brothers: Oris Thomas, Bill Thomas, Phil Thomas, Anson Thomas, Don Thomas; sisters: Diane, Marilyn, Betty, Lois; and mother Delphine Thomas. A Memorial Viewing will be 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Valley Hills Funeral Home, Chapel (2600 Business Lane, Yakima).
