Grace Meyer

Grace May Meyer 91, entered the gates of heaven on March 9, 2018. Grace was preceded in death by two sons, Terry and Stanley, a brother, Johnny, and ex-husband and friend Frank. She is survived by her beloved cat, Thomas, age 18, and sisters Linnabell and Virginia of Puyallup, WA and Viola (Ohio); a son, Robert Meyer (Sheila) of Harrah; daughters, Jeannie and Gracie of Wapato, and Patricia Walker (Okla). Grandchildren are Eldeen “Dee” (Eric) and Tina (Okla) Angela (Martin) of Harrah and William of Wapato. Grace had many nieces and nephews and great grandchildren that lived in and out of state that she loved dearly. She was born in Anchorage, Alaska during the “tent city” days on 2/13/1927 and moved to the Yakima Valley at age two and had remained here her entire life. She was dedicated to reading daily to keep her mind sharp which included her love for reading the Bible and watching her special religious shows. She loved traveling, camping with family and gardening when she could. Her dream was to be a gold miner. Mom, mama, and grandma, as she was called, will be missed dearly. Rest in peace.
