Gordon Mull

Gordon Lee Mull was born April 27, 1935 in St. Ignatius, Montana to Harley James Mull and Addie Louise Mull. He passed away April 19, 2013 at the age of 77. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, three sisters, one brother, one step-son - Todd Donaldson and one grandson - Nathan Swallow. He is survived by his loving wife Betty Mull of Toppenish, WA; his sister Loretta Cole of Maple Valley, WA; his children Bryan Mull of Fresno, CA; Carol Swallow of Zillah, WA; Danielle York of Buena, WA; and Justin Mull of Yakima, WA. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Gordon served his country as an honored marksman in the Navy from 1952-1956. He was married to Bonnie Higgins (Mull) Lyman from 1957 to 1969, having two children, Bryan and Carol. He married Betty (Allen) Mull in 1970 and was happily married for 43 years and raised three other children; Danielle, Todd, and Justin. His pleasures in life were spending time with his family and friends outdoors, particularly with his horses riding in the mountains. One place that was always his favorite was Conrad Meadows in Washington. His occupations in life were a fireman in Toppenish, WA; Pacific Car and Foundry in Renton, WA; and later he was self-employed in the oil business in Toppenish, WA until he retired in 1997. He loved his family and always shared his character through is many stories. We will miss him very much. God be with you until we meet again. There will be a friends and family gathering for lunch, visiting and the sharing of memories on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 500 Nathaniel Lane, Zillah, WA 98953. In lieu of flowers, Betty and Carol decided that Gordon would have preferred donations be sent to the following address: Rodeo City Equestrians, Attn.: Youth Scholarship Fund, P.O.
