Frederick Milbredt

Frederick W Milbredt “Freddy Bear”, 86, of Yakima, peacefully passed away at Harborview Medical Center on May 24th, 2015, following a debilitating stroke and with his strong desire to join His Lord and beloved wife, Moira Jean Milbredt. His family was praying The Lord’s Prayer and the Franciscan Blessing over him as he entered into his eternal rest. He was born on August 5, 1928 to William & Amy (Bennett) Melbredt in Queens, New York. He married Moira Jean on April 3, 1971. He graduated from St Johns University Law School in 1971. He was a Marine, New York Police Officer, and an Attorney at Law. He enjoyed family, gardening, and was a music enthusiast, especially of Opera and Classical music. Prior to his passing, he had said that he had seen all his family be safe and that his life’s work was done. The world is not as bright since he passed into Heaven, but Heaven is much brighter because he is there. We love and miss you, Mom & Dad. May his reunion to our mother, and his beloved friends and family who have already passed, be a glorious celebration. He is survived by his daughters, Lesley Milbredt and Samantha (Norman) Hansen, as well his Golden Retriever, Isabelle.
