Frederick Hill

Frederick John Hill of Yakima, WA made his final journey on March 28, 2016 surrounded by family. Fred was born July 28, 1936 in Gardner MA to Donald J. Hill and Sophie E. Hill. After serving in the Navy, Fred moved to California to pursue a career in the computer industry. There he met and later married Marilyn on May 14, 1966. They were married nearly 50 years. After retiring from Honeywell, he became a stay-at-home Dad for his youngest daughter while pursuing his interest in the financial industry. A lover of plants, Fred often turned his home into a flourishing jungle. He was a master of the bar-b-que, grilling ribs and salmon to perfection. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty, and brother Donald. He is survived by his wife Marilyn; daughters Cathy, Susan, and Patricia; grandchildren Jessica, Kayleigh, Kevin, Tricia, and Scout; and sons-in-law Dell and Keith.
