Frances Ubelaker

Frances (84) was born on July 18, 1928 in Bucoda, WA to May and Emil Ubelaker. She passed away peacefully at home on June 28th, 2013. She grew up in Moxee and also lived in Spokane for many years. When she would come back to Yakima to visit, she always loved to stay with her brother Jack and favorite sister-in-law Patty and they loved having her. In her later years she returned to live in the Yakima Valley to be near her family. She lived with Dan and Lisa Floyd in their Terrace Heights Adult Family home for over 10 years and felt like she was a part of their family. She was an exceptional artist. She could quilt and embroider and paint with an artistic eye. She was a whiz at jigsaw puzzles... being able to put them together upside down as fast as right side up.
