Eva Vela

On Oct. 11, 1936 a beautiful flower named Eva Garza was born. She was the daughter of Evaristo and Dora Garza De Garza Gonzalez, Nuevo Leon. Her surviving siblings are: Donato Garza (RIP) from Modesto, CA, Adan Garza from Toppenish, WA, and Placida Garza Gonzalez, Sotero Garza, Rosa Garza Reyna, and Evaristo Garza, all from Wapato, WA. On Dec. 29, 1954 she married Magdaleno Vela from Repueblo de Oriente. They had 6 children: Yolanda Vela (married to Javier Valdez), Magdaleno Vela Jr. (married to Amalia Garza), Olga Vela, Adan Vela (married to Celina Valentinez), Mario Vela (married to Patty Herrera), and Javier Vela (married to Dulce Delgadillo), 20 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. Our mother had brothers that were musicians. Her most precious hobby was dancing; she loved to dance with her husband, her sons, her grandkids, sons-in-law and her father. She also loved to play poker and blackjack. She was a very happy woman, very loving, and spiritual. We love you, mom.
