Eudocio Valencia 94 of Sunnyside Washington passed away November 20, 2016 at the Sunnyside Community Hospital with his loved ones by his side. He passed away six days before his 95th birthday. He was born November 26, 1921 in Michoacan Mexcio to Teodocio and Aurelia Valencia.
In the early 70s Eudocio came to the United States with his family for a better life. In 1939 he married Margarita Castillo and together they had three boys and seven girls. Eudocio worked tirelessly in the fields to provide for his family, he was a man who had good work ethics. Eudocio loved to be outside growing his garden, taking care of the lawn (Watering it by hand with the garden hose), family gatherings, and fishing at the river. Our family will miss his presences with us but will never forget him. He will always be in our hearts forever.
Eudocio is preceded in death by his parents; Teodocio and Aurelia Valencia, His wife; Margarita Valencia, Brother; Juan, Sisters; Fedelina and Rita.
He is survived by his children; Jesus (Lupe) Valencia, Gabriel (Lori) Valencia, Carolina (Antonio) Alvarez, Aurelia Espinoza, Maria Guadalupe Valencia, Maria Valencia (Carlos) Rodriguez, Rosa Valencia, Jose (Mayra) Valencia, Gloria Valencia (Miguel Sanchez), and Maggie Johnson., Brothers; Pedro and Aureliano, Sister; Zeniada. numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Viewing and visitation will be held 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Tuesday November 22, 2016 with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday November 23, 2016 at Saint Josephs Catholic Church in Sunnyside, followed by graveside services at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sunnyside.
