Ethel Vreeland

Ethel (Holly) Vreeland died at Living Care Nursing Home at 11:35 p.m. on Oct. 20, 2015 of natural causes. She was 91. She was born Jan. 23, 1924 in Butler, NJ to George and Edna Holly. She had 3 sisters and 3 brothers, Bertha, Mary and Janet; George, Leonard and James. She married John Vreeland in Wayne, NJ. She is survived by son Jay Leonard Vreeland of The Philippines; 6 grandchildren: Jennifer (Vreeland) Boyd, husband Peter, of Virginia; Beverly (Vreeland) Velez of Connecticut; Sarah (Vreeland) Kennedy, husband Nick, of Yakima; Lisa (Vreeland) Stacy of Selah; John-Robert Vreeland of California; Benjerman Bondlender of Yakima; and 7 great-grandchildren. She loved collecting and playing with dolls. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Edna Holly, and husband John Vreeland.
