In Loving Memory of Ethan Franklin East
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Ethan Franklin East, age 20, on February 16, 2024, in Spokane, Washington. Born on March 13, 2003, in Everett, Washington, Ethan touched the lives of those around him in the various places he called home, including Zillah, Washington, Bend, Oregon, Anaheim, California, Irvine, California, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and Spokane, Washington.
A passionate and skilled cook, Ethan pursued his culinary dreams with unwavering dedication. His culinary journey took him most recently to Gander and Ryegrass, where he served as a pasta cook, showcasing his talents and commitment to continuous growth. A special moment in his career was his time spent in Portugal last year, enjoying the culture and his love for culinary arts.
Kind, creative, funny, and thoughtful, Ethan was a joy to be around. A diligent worker, he never hesitated to extend a helping hand and had a heart for the less fortunate. His love for his family, friends, and faith in Jesus defined him. Baptized at the age of 15 on Catalina Island by his papa, Frank East, Ethan's devotion to his faith was evident throughout his life.
Ethan is survived by his grieving parents, Jade and Trinda East of Athol, Idaho, his brother Jaden Reballosa (Emily) of Richland, Washington, his sister Whitney East of Hayden, Idaho, and his grandmothers Mary East and Sherie Miner, both of Zillah, Washington and multiple loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Frank East and Marvin Miner.
While we find solace in knowing Ethan now rests in the loving arms of his heavenly father, the void left by his absence on this earth is immeasurable. We cherish the memories of his kind spirit and look forward to the day we reunite with him, free from pain and sorrow.
