Erma Wallawine

Erma May Wallawine, 89, died Monday December 12th 2022 at KVH Hospital. She was born April 4th 1933 in Wichita, Kansas. The daughter of Louis SR. & Alma (Hand) Krebs. She moved to Washington State at the age of 14. She lived her teen-age years in Granger & Sunnyside where she was crowned Miss Granger. She Graduated from Granger, WA. She moved to Yakima in 1962. She married Walter Wallawine on September 25th 1976. Mom worked 32 years at Jeans Cottage Inn before retiring, and her and Walt than started their game cutting business (Walt’s game cutting) After Walt’s passing, Mom continued to work the business up until 2020. She made many good friends, and built lasting relationships with her customers while doing the meat business for the last 24years. She loved working in her yard, and growing a big garden every year. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren Predeceased by: Her husband Walter Wallawine in 2006 and Her son Donald R. Garbe 2022 A graveside service of remembrance will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday December 20th at Terrace Hts. Cemetery.
