Emma Goulet, 99, of Yakima passed away at home on December 1, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 29, 1914 to David and Kathryn (Slagel) Bauer in Friday Harbor, WA. She married Albert Goulet on June 20th, 1934. They farmed for many years in grapes and dairy cattle. She loved to play cards and shuffle- board with family. She also loved to go fishing and dig clams. She was a wonderful housewife and raised seven children. She is survived by her sons, Albert Goulet, Jr. of Parker, David Goulet of Yakima, and Donald Goulet of Yakima; daughters, Geraldine Rodom of Yakima, Patricia Pease of Yakima, Donna Pleake of Zillah, and Kathryn Goulet of Yakima; 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Albert. The family would like to thank her grand-daughter, Delvina and her two best friends, Laura and Danielle for their constant care of Mom and also Regional Hospice for all of their support. A graveside committal service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Prosser Cemetery. Valley Hills Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
