Elta Holder

Elta Deborah Holder 1931–2025   It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elta Dee Holder, age 93, who peacefully passed away March 23, 2025. She was born September 1, 1931, in Tucson, AZ. She married the love of her life, James Richard Holder, on July 13, 1950, who preceded her death in 2003. Elta loved people, and she loved Jesus with all her heart. Her way of life was an incredible testimony of her dedication to the Lord, which perfectly reflects her favorite scripture passage, Psalm 23. Some of her favorite things to do were to travel with her sisters, and she loved reading her mystery books. Elta is survived by her sisters Fern Horton and Donna Kocker, her children Jim (Alberta) Holder, Rick (Christi) Holder, Deborah (Dennis) Shields, and Chuck (Jane Hubbs) Holder; grandchildren Irene (Joshua), Joshua (Kelsey), Lesley (Benny), Emily (Bryan), Jameson (Desiree), Katie (Colby), Jonathon (Emily), Kylee, and Kelly; great-grandchildren Lily, Della, Hayes, Kylar, Kinsley, Jacob, and Preston. It is in them that her legacy lives on. Please join us in celebrating her life Friday, April 4, 2025, from 1:00pm at Seneacquoteen Cemetery — 114 Seneacquoteen Dr. Priest River, Idaho 83856.
