Edward Sullivan

Edward James Sullivan (Sully), 70, passed away at his home on 02/05/2023 in Yakima after a long, courageous battle with Metastatic Lung Cancer Ed was born 12/17/1952, in Rockford, IL. to Forrest Sullivan and Patricia (Lawler) Sullivan. Ed joined the US Navy from 1970-1974. After serving in the military, he obtained his BA from College of Charleston, then his Master’s from Northeastern Illinois University. Ed married Patricia Aguirre April 2013. He specialized in Health Care and Provider Compensation for many years. Living in different areas for employment finally settling in Yakima. Ed was a lifelong member of AA and proudly celebrated his accomplishment of 50 years of Sobriety. He enjoyed hiking, and exploring the outdoors as well. Ed is survived by his Wife Patricia, children Jason Hughes of Charleston, SC, Morgan Sullivan of Columbia, SC, children gained when he married Patricia, Victoria Flores(Bernie) of Edmonds, WA, Donald Peters (Erica) of Duvall, WA, Olivia Martinez (Carlos) of Yakima, WA, Mario Peters, Lynnwood, WA Patrick Peters (Julia) of Selah, WA.Brothers William Sullivan (Patsy) of Olathe KS, and Douglas Sullivan of Arlington Heights, IL, Sister Beth Scott (Tim) of Piedmont, MO, and numerous grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Parents, brother Dennis Sullivan, Sister Sharon (Sherry) Sullivan-Kalinowski and sister in law Cheryl Sullivan. A potluck style Celebration of Life will be held in Ed's honor, starting from 12pm-3pm on Saturday 04/01/2023 at Suntides Golf Course in Yakima.
