Edith “Bobette” Gravatt—(Wabnitz, Woodruff, Howard, Conner) Born in Cornith, Mississippi May 10th, 1950 to Robert Sr. and Josephine Wabnitz (Oliver) deceased and was proceeded in death by her sister Deborah Jean and brother Carl Wabnitz. Bobette passed quietly after a long fight with COPD on August 2, 2014 at 10pm. Bobette is survived by brother Robert Allen Wabnitz who resides in South Carolina and her three children Dawn Davis (aka Shellie Howard), Stephanie Howard, and James Howard—their spouses, seven grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family members in the South. Bobette was known for her sense of humor, storytelling, and her overall love for people. She worked at both the Buena Market and Gold Nugget in the 80’s until she left WA in 91, returning to FL. She enjoyed making everyone who walked in the doors feel special and took pride in her work and providing good customer service. Bobette returned to WA in 2009 to be closer to her children and their families. She will be missed- and for those who knew her- raise a Pepsi in her honor.
