Dustin J. Kelsch

Dustin J. Kelsch, born in Yakima, Washington, December 23, 1982, passed away in Wapato, Washington on August 30, 2025.Dustin loved gardening. He loved to grow plants and vegetables, He washery artistic and enjoyed painting, drawing, and even like to whittle things from scrap pieces of wood.

When he was younger, he was quite the practical joker. He loved to have fun with people, especially his family. One time, he & I lived in the same apartment complex as my sister. My sister took great pride in decorating her patio with her flower pots and furniture arranged perfectly. Unbeknownst to me, Dustin moved all of her flowers, furniture, and even her broom and dust pan over to the patio next door that just happened to be vacant. My sister was past the point of hysterical when she called to inform me that someone had stolen all of her patio stuff, and she was sure that Dustin had something to do with it. I was sure that he had NOTHING to do with it! Then she called me back and said, “you know what Dustin did…” She was so mad, and then she saw the furniture, her pots, and even the broom and dust pan all arranged in the exact order on the patio next-door. We all had a good laugh. Despite many struggles, Dustin had endured in this life, his faith in God and enthusiasm in studying the Bible gave him a great sense of self-worth and strength. He felt compassion and empathy for others, and his belief in God was encouraging to others, including myself. He will be greatly missed.
