Dorothy Fredrickson

Dorothy Ellen Fredrickson passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus on February 14th, 2017. She was born in Oklahoma City, May 22, 1936 to. She met her husband to be, Robert Wayne Fredrickson at the same high school, dated two years and married on July 11, 1952. They moved to Granger with their two children in 1957 where they added three more daughters to their family. She is survived by her husband, her five daughters, Kathryn Bruhn (Terry), Gail Van Wyk (Paul), Judy Hendren (Al) , Karen Ihrig (Bob) and Sharon Abbott (Mike). Her and Robert Wayne had thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren during their sixty- five years together. She found a personal relationship with Jesus Christ at twenty-eight and that began a long journey of faith and walking with the Lord. She was a prolific writer of poetry, prayers for her loved ones, and children’s stories. She never met a stranger and loved everyone she met. She loved her Lord and her family unconditionally and has left a long lasting legacy of faith in Jesus Christ.
