Donetta Peppers

Donetta Marie (Matthes) Peppers was born September 20, 1939 in Toppenish, Washington. Donetta was born in Toppenish but was raised in Naches, WA. She worked in many of the local warehouses throughout most of her life. The love of her life was John “Pepper” Peppers. Together they loved to go fishing and go camping or simply sit out by Slims and people watch. She was passionate about watching her kids play sports and when grandchildren came along, her focus became them. She loved playing cards with her kids and simply being with family. Donetta is survived by her three children; LeRoy (Cindy) Hill of Yakima, Doug (Andrea) Hill of Yakima and Cindy Mickelsen of Spanaway, WA., two grandsons; Justin and Corey Hill of Yakima, sister in law, Dorothy (Dort) Matthes, and her brother in law Jay Russell, plus many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Elsie Matthes, her brother Donny Matthes, and her sister JoAnn Russell.
