Dondee Angela Dawes, 39, of Zillah, WA entered the gates of Heaven surrounded by her loving family on January 12, 2017. She was born November 11, 1977 to Richard Hunter and Matilda Smiskin in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
She graduated from Parker High School and continued her education at Haskell Indian Nations University where she met the love of her life, Clayton Dawes. They were married August, 25, 2000 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was an avid fan and #1 supporter of her children’s sports activities/teams. She was employed for almost 17 years as a payroll specialist for Yakama Legends Casino. She was a diehard Denver Broncos fan to the very end. She enjoyed reading, Sudoku, word searches, watching movies/tv with her mom and husband and especially YELLING AT HER KIDS.
She is survived by her loving husband, Clayton Dawes; three children, Terrell Frank, Talani Max, and Gwendolyn Dawes; her parents, Richard Hunter from Parker, Arizona and Matilda Smiskin of Toppenish; sisters, Bobbi(Bill) Morago and MOTY Katee Hunter; brother, Clayton Buck; nieces, Kaylynn(Froggie), ShyAnne, KayAnna, Amber, Megan, Anita, and Veriah; nephews, Jordell, Sport, Trindell, Baby Byron, and Sheydon; favorite uncle, Harry (Jeanne)Smiscon and numerous family members.
She was preceded in death by her grandpa Dart Hunter Sr. and grandparents, Walter Smiscon, Sr. and Virginia Yelechin; and special niece Kamee Morago.
Private services will be held. Burial will be in the Pete Cemetery in Mabton, Washington.
