Donald Nelson

Rev. Donald E Nelson was born in Michigan to Eldred and Helen Nelson. He had two sisters, Beverly and Gail, who preceded Donald in death. Don's first wife, Beatrice, also preceded him in death. Donald lovingly cared for Beatrice for 9 years until her death. Donald spent his adult life as an Assembly of God minister in various places included churches in the Yakima Valley. He also was a carpenter by trade. He is survived by his wife, Hellen Nelson, brother, Eldred, son, Jonathan and his wife Joyce, son, David, and his wife Ginger and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Two step daughters, Jeri and husband Rich, Nancy and husband Roland and one step son, Donald with wife, Beverly Visitation will be on Friday, December 18th from 1-5PM at Valley Hills Funeral Home, Yakima. The funeral service will be Monday, December 21st, 11:00AM, at Central Assembly of God (701 S 3rd Avenue) in Yakima, followed by burial with Military Honors at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
