Dominique Mitchell

September 4, 1981 — September 28, 2024

Dominique "Dom" Jevon Mitchell, Senior. 43 was taken from us unexpectedly and tragically on September 28, 2024. He was born September 4, 1981, to William Theodore Mitchell Jr. and Jan Lee Embry in Yakima, Washington. He was the light in his mother's life. She adored the ground he walked on. He could do no wrong in her eyes… EVER!!! Dominique was a happy-go-lucky guy, always smiling, cracking jokes. He enjoyed doing his daily routines with his close cousins Rabbit and P and A. He was a connoisseur of many, he had a green thumb if you know what I mean and was very proud of it. He loved to barter and always had a plan to execute. If you knew Dom, he always had his phone in his hand, shaking it cheating trying to get his steps in. But most of all, he loved being with his kids racing their RC cars, reenacting movie scenes and going on eating adventures. He was always at his sister's spending time with the family, laughing, snacking living his best life and of course, watching his Cowboys and trash talking his brothers about the Seahawks and the Steelers. Dominique is preceded in death by his father William Theodore Mitchell Jr. and his dad Willie Terry Mercer, grandma Billy Jo, great grandma Janet, and aunt Stacey. In his new adventure, he leaves behind his most prized possessions, his babies Dominique Jr, and his baby girl Daisy, his bonus kids, Arthur(Darrlynn) and Noah and his grand-babies Naomiee and kyriee . His mother Jan, sister Capri, brother-in-law, Andrew, brother Nathaniel (Alexis), his nephew and nieces, which he adores very much and had a special relationship with each one of them, Tehvon, Dummauria, Marquise, Kishahn, Aniyah, Jasaye, Brooqlyhn, Deyviion, Kahlanii, Jahycien, Jalen, Jamir, Maddy, and a great nephew on the way. He also leaves behind his aunt Hayley (shell) and aunt Gina. As well as numerous cousins and friends his other close cousins Terrence, Decarie and Rhys, Dominique was a blessing to us all he was a phenomenal father, son, brother, uncle, and Papa. We will miss him endlessly To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Dominique Mitchell, please visit our flower store.
