Diana Hunter, age 59, passed away in her home May 27, 2017. She was born in Encino, California on September 25, 1957. She moved to Yakima with family in 1958. Here she resided until her untimely death.
Diana attended local valley schools as well as in the Seattle area. She loved to watch ice skating and old movies. She had a passion for horses and liked to draw and paint with her in depth view of art.
She lived with and cared for her mother during her final days. She shared many hobbies and interests with her mom, including collecting dolls, raising flowers, and, much to their delight, attending the yearly Washington State Fair.
Diana was preceded in death by her father Paul F. Hunter of Hayti, Mo., her mother Lucille M. Hunter of Yakima, Wa., two brothers, Burleigh Hunter of Wapato, Wa., and Delmar Hunter of Merced, Ca. She is survived by her four siblings, Paul (Mack) Hunter and his wife Opal Hunter of Wapato, Wa., sisters Linda Hunter of Seattle, Wa., Wanda Neff of Zillah, Wa., and Benita Schumacher and her husband Jim Schumacher of Mukilteo, Wa., and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She will always remain in our hearts forever.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
