Dewey Brandon

Dewey, age 75, of Granger, WA, passed away on January 2, 2018 surrounded by his wife and family members at Yakima Astria Hospital in Yakima, WA. He was born on April 3, 1942 in Mountain Home, Idaho and grew up in Yakima & Wapato. He attended Wapato High School and served in the U. S Army for 3 years. He retired in 2002 from Burlington Railroad after 32 years. His hobbies include gardening and fishing and hunting in his early years. He married the love of his life, Paula (Fritz) Brandon in 1971 and they made their homes in Oregon and Washington. They recently celebrated 46 years of marriage. He is survived by his loving wife, Paula; daughters, Brenda K. Shipley & Theresa Michaels. He has 2 grandsons, Kevin Brandon and Kenny Brandon; one great granddaughter, Celeste; daughter in law, Lina Pacificia; 3 sisters, Roma L. Gilman of Eugene, Oregon, Rita (Paul) Laws of Granger, Washington, and Judy S. Jenkins of Caney, Oklahoma. Ken was preceded in death by his son, Brian Keith Brandon and his parents, Andy & Dorothy Brandon. A heartfelt thanks to his caring Dr. San & nurses Kelley, Sandy, Davey ... & all ICU & ACU staff at Yakima Astria Hospital & Sunnyside Hospital. A memorial for Ken is planned for the springtime.
