Delina Rae Napyer “ Patunwy” 43 years old was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, loving spouse and friend to all, she walked on with the Creator at the Yakima Memorial Hospital on Sunday July 16, 2023. She was born in Yakima on December 05, 1979 to the late Eugene Jack Sr and Louise Napyer Price. Delina was a devoted mother, was loved and made friends everywhere she went. She was a high-spirited woman who loved others and enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom. She was a shining example of loving mother and tough spirited to all who knew her. Her death is the embodiment of Robert Frost’s words, “Nothing gold can stay.” Her fighting spirit, sense of on the road adventures, fierce love, uplifting sense of humor and tender concern for those around her will be dearly missed. She is survived by two children, Trinitee Starr and stepdaughter Kristian Starr; her spouse of 21 years Patrick Starr; her mother, Louise Price; five brothers, Harold Price, Gerald Napyer, David Price, Brian Jack and Eugene Jack; five sisters, Annie Price, Gwendolyn Price, Dolcee Jack, and Jolene Jack Williams; in-laws, aunts, cousins and loving nieces /nephews. Family that preceded her was Grandmothers Ella Adams Olney, Elaine Smiscon, Eliza Sohappy, Grandfather Louis Napyer, Walter Smiscon, Jim Sohappy, Step-Father Harold Price, and Sister Connie Price. Services will be Thursday, July 20, 23 10am Valley Hill Funeral Home Wapato, following overnight services at the Toppenish Creek Longhouse in White Swan WA. Burial will be Friday July 21 at 8am at the Reservation Community Memorial Park, Wapato WA.
