David Pena

On March 29, 2013 surrounded by his loving family and friends, our beloved brother David R. Peña went peacefully into the arms of his Savior. David was born April 5, 1958 in Sunnyside, Washington to Anselmo and Josephina Peña. After living in California for many years he made the move back home to be closer to family and friends. David loved to go to the casinos and enjoyed tanning. He especially loved all the family gatherings and the yearly camping trip. He will be remembered for his wonderful smile and great sense of humor. He was the life of the party and will always have a special place in each of his nieces and nephews hearts. Survivors include his companion, Paul Dimon of Yakima; eight brothers, Idelfonso Peña, Anselmo Peña Jr., Daniel Peña and Ricardo Peña, all of Yakima, Juan Peña of Las Vegas, Victor Peña of Seattle, Miguel Peña of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Henry Peña of Granger; and five sisters, Mary Ramos of Wapato, Alicia Gonzalez of Yakima and Nancy Peña, Irma Rivera and Yolanda Galvan, all of Granger; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. A special thanks to Yakima Memorial Hospital and Father Mike Ibach from Holy Family Parish. Recitation of the Rosary will be held 6:00 P.M. Friday, April 5, 2013 at Valley Hills Funeral Home, 2600 Business Lane, in Terrace Heights. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 A.M.
