David C. Hansen went to be with the Lord May 13, 2016. David was born April 19, 1960 to Jim C. and Mary Lee Hansen in Prosser, WA. He grew up and went to Sunnyside schools and Toppenish high school. David enjoyed fishing, catching crawdads, adventurous, looking for grasshoppers as a boy. He worked various labour jobs. He worked for the Toppenish City for a while about the age of18. He later battled mental illness of Schizophrenia. David lived at Gleed Orchard Manor where he was part of the “family”. He was a kind, caring person. He shared what he had. He enjoyed friendship, he was funny, he was the life of the party. He enjoyed going fishing, feeding the elk. He reminisced about his childhood, with humor. He was so happy to have a visit. He will be greatly missed. David is survived by his sister Joanne Davenport of Goldendale, Wa. Nephew Nathan L. Davenport, Niece Ariella Davenport. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Jim C. Hansen and Mary Lee Hansen, grandparents Claudie Menshew and Charles Menshew , and a niece Candice N. Davenport and nephew Daniel L.
