David Cienfuegos Almaguer "Chito" (56) passed away Monday August 7th, 2023 at Kadlec Hospital in Richland, WA surround- ed by family.
David was born February 20th 1967, in El Centro, CA to Guadalupe and Hortencia Almaguer. David comes from a fam- ily of migrant workers who traveled from state to state. Eventually they found their way to Granger, WA where they settled and called home.
David received most of his education in Granger and later achieved his GED.
In 1983 David mar- ried his wife Maria Ozuna in the state of Idaho. They were blessed with five chil- dren Priscilla, Patricia, Christina, David Jr., and Graciela.
David worked in the fields and drove semi- trucks for his family's trucking business, Almaguer Trucking.
Some of his hobbies were spending time with his family, taking care of his roosters, and going to casinos.
David is survived by his mother Hortencia, his four sisters Maria, Angelita, Linda & Noemi, two brothers Jaime and Victor, girl- friend of fourteen years Yvette Tover, his eight children Priscilla (Teodoro), Anita, Patricia (Nicholas), Christina (O'Brien), David Jr., Graciela, Jessie (Mariah), Monique and nine grandchildren.
David is preceded in death by his father Guadalupe Almaguer, his brother Guadalupe "Wally" Jr., his grandpar- ents Pedro & Bruna Almaguer and Jesus & Guadalupe Cienfuegos.
David Almaguer's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His memo- ries of the love, laughter and joy he left with them will continue to remain in their hearts through the days ahead.
Please join us on Friday August 11th at Valley Hill Funeral Home in Sunnyside, WA from 4-8pm for the view- ing. Saturday August 12th service will begin at 10am following gravesite burial at Sunnyside Lower Valley Memorial.
