Daryl Wetherell

Daryl Wetherell passed away October 27, 2018 at the age of 78. He had been a resident of Emerald Care Nursing Home since 2008. He was born in Sunnyside, WA on July 12, 1940 to Francis and Martha. He grew up in Mabton, WA where he lived for many years raising a family while working in the farming industry. Daryl was a hardworking man and would help anyone who needed anything. He was a survivor of the Vietnam war and a proud veteran. He was an avid sports fan and loved supporting his kids with their school activities. He was loved by so many and will be missed greatly. Daryl was preceded in death by the love of his life, Marcy, his parents and his brother Dallas. He is survived by 2 brothers, Bob Wetherell and Curt Wetherell both of WA; 2 sons, Steve of WA and Craig and his wife, April of OR; his daughter, Kristen Wetherell of CA; 4 grandsons, Michael Wetherell of WA, Darius and Brandon Wetherell of OR, and Brady Mercier of CA; and 2 granddaughters, Elizabeth Wetherell of WA and Mackenzie Mercier of CA. Funeral services will be held November 2nd at 2 pm at Emerald Care Nursing Home, located at 209 Ahtanum Ave., Wapato, WA.
