Daryl Passed away peacefully at home. He was born January 29,1961 to Boyd and Shirley (Warner) Brown in Yakima, Washington.
He lived all his life in Granger, Washington. His most favorite place he lived was on the McBride Ranch on the Satus. He fished, rode motorcycles, floated the river, played hide and seek in the cattails, caught frogs and turtles etc. with his family and friends.
Daryl attended Granger School District for all 12 years of his elementary and high school education. He was a graduate of the class of 1979. During that time, he excelled in football and and was on the 1978 football team that made it to the Kingbowl. He was a running back, field goal kicker, extra point kicker and a blocker.
Daryl loved to hunt, fish and water ski with his family and friends. He also enjoyed watching the Seahawks and and sports like his dad. He worked at Hanford and Parrish Farms for a while and then farmed pears, apples and grapes on the Granger Farm. He was an avid gardener and had a massive garden he tended to and enjoyed for many summers.
Daryl is preceded in death by his father, Boyd Brown, maternal grandparents; Elma Warner and George Lester Warner and his paternal grandparents; Henry Brown, Mae Brown and his brother in law, Ronald Blanchard.
He is survived by his mother Shirley (Warner) Brown, sister Cheryl Blanchard, nieces Stephanie (Josh) Domingo, Michelle Blanchard (Jr. Landa), great nephew and nieces, Andrew Blanchard, Catalina and Hanalei Domingo. Aunts Beverly Riddle, Sandra Wallace, Carol McBride Waller and Sue Garretson and his life long friend, Phil Parker. He has many cousins and especially enjoyed spending time with Raymond and Quentin Wallace.
Funeral Memorial will be May 3rd from 11am to 1:00pm at Living Water Church 225 3rd Ave. in Granger, Wa. Zillah Valley Hills Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
