Danny Lee Wagoner passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2023 at the age of 60 in Toppenish, Wa.
Danny is survived by his children, Devinn Ann Martinez (Andrew) and Audrey Rose; and his grandchildren, Abigail and Azalea; his brother, Dirk Wagoner; his sisters, DeeDee Wagoner, Donelle Deleon (Luis), Tommie Jo Adkison (Danny), Deann Peterson and Dawn Wagoner; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Hofstad; his father, Doug Wagoner; paternal grandparents, Cliff and Alice Wagoner; maternal grandparents, Aubrey and Virginia Shirley; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Danny was born in Sunnyside, Wa in September of 1962 to Linda and Doug. The most joyful time of his life when he was young was spent in Buena, Wa up on top of the hill at Grandpa Cliff and Grandma Alice’s. He loved helping out in the orchard, camping and fishing. Since he was always stirring up trouble, Grandpa thought the perfect CB handler named for Danny would be “Double Trouble.” He worked primarily as a manual laborer doing things like picking fruit when he was young, and eventually building crates or bins and then driving forklift when he was older. His work took him down to California in the early 90’s where he made many close friends that he spent time with going camping, fishing and having a good time. In July 1991 and June 2000, respectively, he welcomed two beautiful daughters, who he loved and was so proud of. Danny was often caught talking about his daughter and grandbaby and how proud he was of them and would often show pictures of them to his friends and family. Danny was a kind and proud father whose love for his children was unquestionable.
Danny will be remembered for making others laugh with his funny stories, goofy personality, and his wild sense of humor. He was a jokester and the life of the party with a shoot first and ask questions later attitude. He was a die hard San Francisco 49er’s fan and would defend his team until the end. He loved to work on his cars and keep his rides looking good- since he thought he could always pull in the babes.
At a to be determined date in Washington, family and friends are invited to join together for drinks and togetherness in Danny’s memory.
We will miss you so much Dad/Bro! Until we all meet again in Heaven. We love you big time, always and forever.
