Gone Fishing!

Remember all of the good times & cherish the moments spent together. You could not have found a nicer & kinder man! He was the best! He took everybody ahead of himself, and family came first. He looked forward to holidays and family dinners. He liked to cook and was good at it! Working on his old cars, one was a 73 NOVA and a pickup. Grandsons would come & help him (Josh M. & Jared Bloom). He enjoyed playing his guitars & drums. He played his music with all the grandkids, hoping one would carry it on.

His love of music was ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alice Cooper, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and many more. (The louder the better.) He loved to work and fix things around the house. There was nothing he couldn't do! If you told him he couldn't do something, he would prove you wrong.

He collected old radios & organs, clocks, etc., which were carried down from his dad. He loved his antiques. He had the funniest sense of humor; you would never know what was coming next. He kept everyone laughing! He loved old cars and was looking forward to going & taking his 73 Nova to the antiques to show it off.

He couldn't wait until someone would offer to take him fishing. He loved his fishing trips and spending time with his loving grandsons Kody & Josh M. Bloom, also going fishing with his buddies Art, Johnny, and Dub. He was a fisherman for sure.

We enjoyed going fishing and camping in our motorhome at Drano. We had the time of our lives! Listening to trains & rain trying to sleep.

Sad to leave my wife (Denise) of 52 years of marriage behind. But I am not suffering in pain anymore & fishing with our son (Jacob) I have gone. Fishing in a better place.

He graduated from Toppenish High School and worked at the Silgan Can Plant in Toppenish up to his retirement. He was looking forward to working on his 73 Nova with his loving son Joshua F. Bloom & loving grandson Jared Bloom. He had plans, but it didn't work out…we will miss him deeply.
