In Loving Memory of Daniel Dimick
Dan Dimick, a beloved husband, father, and friend, born on September 25th, 1969 in Yakima, WA, passed away peacefully on February 21st, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
Dan had an adventurous spirit, finding joy in traveling and exploring new places with his wife, Valerie. From their wedding in Vegas to countless cruises and beach getaways, Dan embraced life's adventures with enthusiasm and a contagious zest for making memories.
His kindness and generosity knew no bounds. Whether it was helping a nephew in need or rushing to his daughters' aid to fix a leaky faucet or blow out the sprinklers, Dan's compassionate heart touched the lives of many. Despite his own humble beginnings, he never hesitated to give what he could to those in need, embodying the true spirit of generosity.
Dan's creativity and craftsmanship were unmatched. From crafting banners for Karissa's businesses to designing and building intricate projects in his garage, he had a remarkable talent for bringing ideas to life with precision and care.
But perhaps Dan's greatest legacy lies in the love and laughter he shared with those around him. He had a no-nonsense attitude paired with a bright outlook on life, always finding humor even in the toughest of times. His presence brightened every room, and his infectious laughter and jokes will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Valerie Dimick, his loving daughters Courtney Dimick and Karissa Brandhagen, his step-daughter Kylie Wheatley, his step-siblings Kim and Roger Coburn and Brett Stillwaugh, and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom he cherished dearly. He is preceded in passing by his father, Jim Dimick, his mother, Margaret Stillwaugh, and his step-father, Byron Stillwaugh. Daniel leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to family.
In honoring Dan's memory, let us carry forward his legacy of kindness, creativity, and boundless love. Though he may be gone, his spirit lives on in the countless lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
A celebration of life is to be held March 23rd from 1pm - 5pm at his favorite hangout spot, Pastime, in Selah, WA.
