Crisoforo "Chris" Medina was born in Central California on January 5, 1971 and passed away on January 3, 2014.Chris was the sixth child of twelve siblings. He enjoyed watching football and his favorite team was the Rams. He was a great person to all who knew him and helped out in any way that he could, even if it was to just listen. He knew what to say and be encouraging and lift your spirits. Chris had a very forgiving heart and was a very caring generous person not only to his family but others. Survivors include his father, Gilberto Medina Sr.; three brothers, Jamie Medina and Robert Medina, all of Sunnyside, and Gilberto Medina Jr. of Glendale, Ariz.; and seven sisters, Leticia Estudillo, Veronica Medina and Esmeralda Medina, all of Sunnyside, Maggie Charvet and Ruby Medina, both of Grandview, Nora Newhouse of Mabton and Yolanda Medina of Portland. Also his girlfriend Isabel Sifuentez of Pasco WA.
The Medina family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. Our family would also like to thank all those who gave donations on Chris's behalf and thinking of us in our time of need and everyone who attended Chris's service for your thoughtful words during this most difficult time was deeply appreciated. To Pastor Bob Widman and the Cornerstone Assembly of God, thank you for all you have done for our family.
Viewing and visitation was held Tuesday January 14, 2014 at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Services were held 11:00 am Wednesday January 15, 2014 at the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church on North Ave. in Sunnyside, followed by graveside services at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
