“Suppum” Corrine “Dutch” Kahclamat Sister, Mother, and Grandmother. Corrine was born to Evans "Gus" and Vivian Kahclamat in Toppenish, WA July 31, 1957 as an enrolled tribal member of the Yakama Nation. Corrine was raised in White Swan, on the Yakama Indian Reservation until 1970 when her family made the decision to move to Seattle, WA. Dutch was an accomplished Traditional and Fancy dancer from walking age. Prize winner in many states and Canada. Member of Spearfish USA Drum Group and excelled in High School Track. Dutch was a collector of “Peanuts” items, Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Snoopy. She loved to play Bingo, and is a Haskell Indian College Alumni. Corrine is preceded in death by her parents Gus and Vivian Kahclamat, Grandparents Chuck and Nora Speedis, Kennedy Kahclamat, and Alice Sam. Corrine is survived by sons Leon and Vincent Cordier, Granddaughter Lavera Cordier, sister Colleen “Coko” Kahclamat, Brothers Evans “Butch” Kahclamat, Eugene “Skinny” Kahclamat, and the Azure family. Dutch will be missed in Pow-Wow and Drumming circles and by numerous Family and Friends.
