Heaven gained a special angel when Conrado Gonzalez 62, sadly passed Aug 31, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. Born October 18, 1959, in Lubbock Texas to Jose Gonzalez and Juanita Torres Gonzalez he eventually moved and spent most of his life in Sunnyside. Conrad enjoyed family, dancing, fishing, and playing drums. He met his loving wife Irma in 1979 and they enjoyed 43 years together. Conrad had a big heart, he loved everybody and everything and he lived to help and do things for others, his generosity will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him. He had special relationships with all his nieces and nephews who looked to him as a father figure and someone who always made them feel loved. Although he will be missed profoundly, loved ones are comforted knowing he is going to a place free of sickness where he can live eternally as the angel he was.
He is survived by his wife Irma Martinez-Gonzalez, his father Jose, brothers Jose Jr. and Hector Gonzalez and sisters Norma Gonzalez, Olga Perez and her husband Rosendo, Martha Saldana and her husband Marcos, and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles..
He is preceded in death by his mother Juanita Torres Gonzalez and sister Ofelia Castilleja, mother-in-law Betty Macias and brothers-in-law Robert Martinez and Thomas Rodriguez.
His rosary will be held at Valley Hills Memorial in Sunnyside on September 8th from 5-7. Services are on September 9th at Saint Joseph's Church in Sunnyside at 10 with burial at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
