Clare Diane Weeman, 72, passed away peacefully at home with her family on September 28, 2019 at 7:30pm. Clare was born on December 4, 1946 at 7:30pm. Clare passed away from tongue cancer which she was diagnosed with in March of this year. This however, was not her first battle with cancer. Clare is a 71 year cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of two and has battled ever since. This did not stop her from living a wonderful adventure filled life. Clare was born in Yakima and graduated from Naches High School in 1965. Clare and her family traveled and lived throughout the Pacific Northwest. Her and her family lived along the Washington and in the Hoh Rainforest enjoying time digging clams and crabbing. British Columbia was also home to Clare and her family. They spent time living in Alberta and at the head waters of the Canadian Rockies. At about 5,000ft level Clare considered life beautiful. She lived amongst the bears, cougars, and moose digging for gold and splitting cedar shakes. When Clare wasn’t tending to her family she was tending to others. She was proud to be a Behavioral Health Counselor for Comprehensive Mental Health for 17 years. Her kindness and loving nature will be missed dearly. Clare is lovingly survived by her sister, Barbara Johnston, her three children; Edward (Nancy) Weeman, Charles Weeman, and Adam (Becky) Weeman, her grandchildren; Amanda and Edwin Weeman, Scott and Sarah Fielding, Mathew and Melanie Tucker, and her great-grandchildren Syrus Shuel, Theron Snow, and Damian, Olivia, and Nicholas Fielding, also her nephew, John Johnston and niece, Tina Williams. Clare is preceded in death by her parents. Her brother, Robert Seed and her son Benjamin Weeman. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
