Chris Villa

On February 1, 2023, our beloved Christopher Renee Villa passed away unexpectedly in a tragic car accident at the age of 19. Christopher was born October 22, 2003, and was always known to be a very free-spirited individual ever since he was a baby. Chris immediately found his love for sports at the age of 2. During his childhood, he participated in many youth sports. Chris attended school in Granger, graduating with the class of 2022. He continued to play sports in middle school and high school and managed to make a very well-known name for himself. Chris’ final year at GHS he tied the school record for the most touchdowns in a single game in Football. He then qualified and placed at the state tournament tying the school record for medaling in two events for the track. Some of Chris’ favorite activities were being on track and field, basketball courts, and football fields with his brothers and sisters, skateboarding around town and skate parks around the valley, taking family camping trips, hanging out with his friends and family, and taking the family trip to Texas with his Aldaco family. Chris is preceded in death by his grandfather Vidal Galvan-Verduzco, niece Destiny Villa, and cousin Uriel Mendoza. May they all rest in peace. Chris will always be remembered by his mother Maria (Anthony) Russell and his father Martin (Sandra) Villa. He is also survived by his brothers Xavier, Marty Jr, Michael, and Benjamin, his sisters Alina, Sofiya, Vianca, and Gabriela, his nieces and nephews, grandparents Elena Juardo-Verduzco, Petra and Eugenio Villa, his girlfriend Ali, best friends who he claimed as additional brothers Kique, Sebastian, and Noel, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other friends. We would also like to recognize Cecilio and Gracie Aldaco, for being such big part of Chris’ life. They were known as his parents away from home. Our family was not expecting Chris’ life to be cut so short so soon, we are devastated by this loss and will feel his absence forever. CHRISTOPHER was so protective of those he loved but yet the sweetest, kindest, most loving soul and a joy to be around. CHRISTOPHER will be forever missed.
