Cherron L. Walker passed away unexpectedly at her home in Toppenish, Washington, on August 4, 2026, at the age of 47.

Born February 27, 1979, in Toppenish, Cherron lived life on her own terms. A rocker, a witch, a free spirit, and above all else unapologetically herself. She believed in creation, in connection, and in the energy that binds us together. She had a love for the queer and strange; she moved through the world by her own moonlit path, with an unmistakable gift for seeing the hidden beauty in others and making them feel welcomed, cherished, and loved.

One of Cherron's greatest sources of pride was her work with Yakama Nation Homeland Security, where she dedicated herself to serving her community with commitment, strength, and purpose.

Family was the center of Cherron's world. To her, family wasn't limited to blood. Once you were family, you were Cuzzin forever.

Music was Cherron’s truest craft, a sacred thread woven through her life and the way she connected with the world around her. Whether she was headbanging at Otep concerts with Sheila, Ray, and CJ, hosting karaoke nights, discovering new sounds, or stepping onto a stage herself, music was where her spirit came alive.

She was a proud member of Paintings of Rebellion, whose performances brought joy to the Craig Ranch crew and beyond. The little guys at the ranch never seemed to tire of hearing them play— and that was probably because they were actually good. Good enough, in fact, to take the stage live at Legends Casino.

And then there was Cherron’s voice. Our Tank Girl.

Her voice was a constant presence in our lives—a familiar spell woven through living rooms, karaoke nights, family gatherings, and endless conversations. She had a way of turning an ordinary moment into a memory simply by picking up a microphone. Though, if we’re being honest, the microphone was often just a prop; Cherron never really needed one. Her voice carried all on its own.

Cherron shared a deep and special bond with her beloved twin flame, Megan McGarry.

She is survived by her mother, Adrienne Craig; second dad, Ron Wilson; her sister, Tamera (Jeff) Walker; her brothers, Scott (Shelly) Walker and LilMudd Walker; and her soul sister, Christa (Dan) Blake. She leaves behind her cherished nieces, Amanda (Francois) Dereeper,

Ashley (Devyn) Wilson, and Kailani (Zephyr) Walker, and special cousins Mary Dee and Mia Gonzalez. She also leaves behind countless Cuzzins who loved her deadly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth “Mudd” Walker.

Cherron also leaves behind her beloved fur babies, Emilie, Draco, and the famous Craig Ranch goat, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

She was the coolest cousin, a fierce protector, a keeper of music and memories, a loyal friend, a helluva sister, and a soul impossible to forget. The truest rebels leave behind more than stories— they leave behind sparks, spells, and echoes that linger long after they’re gone. Cherron left plenty. Her magic lives on in every song, every story, and every heart she touched.
