Charles was born to Charles Gilbert Sweowat Sr. and Darlene Phillips in Toppenish, Washington. Charles attended school in Wapato. He was a member of the Yakama Nation. Charles was a Traditional Dancer and actively sand and drummed in various longhouses. Charles participated in various sports and loved playing pool. Charles loved the mountains and hunted, and fished. He was employed at Tiin-Maa Logging as a mechanic and also was bartender and worked at Wolf Den in the smoke shop. Charles knew almost everyone and loved to visit with everybody. He will be missed dearly by all that knew him.
He is survived by his children Nita “Bobby”, Billy, his daughter Wolf, grandson Bronson, Chaz, Trumain, Connie, Noah, Kwaunah, Shiena, Stephen Jim, Tyronne “Carla”, Lea Wyman. Siblings, Robert Arquette, Dulcie George, Ronald Arquette, and Dacie Stanton.
