Carole Wamsley

Carole Arlene Wamsley, a lifelong resident of the Yakima Valley died of natural causes on July 1, 2018. She was 85 years old. Her 20 year career as a much loved counselor at the Sundown M Ranch was a point of particular pride in her long and lively life. She helped usher many through the process of addiction recovery with compassion and humor. In retirement she enjoyed riding horses, her family and friends, her garden and her many dogs and cats. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jim Wamsley. Children, Clifford Smith, Jim Anglin and Linda Anglin Yakush, numerous stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, July 10 at 11:00 am at Valley Hills Funeral Home (2600 Business Ln, Yakima)
