Candice Eileen RedHorn Milner (Amelia Wiskt) came into this world on October 2, 1975 at 8:57 am in Goldendale, WA born to Amelia RedHorn and Bruce Denny. Candice ended her battle with Cancer and took her last breath July 4, 2019 at 10:37 am at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.
Candice was raised and educated on the Yakama Nation, attending Mt. Adams School District until the 5th Grade, than transferring to Wapato School District and graduating in 1994. Candice had many dreams growing up for her profession which she achieved over the years. Beginning with the Yakama Nation Forestry Camp Crew, Forestry Services, Molly Maids, Haas Hop Inc., Yakima County Native Insurance Verifyer, Yakama Nation Silviculture Dept. Once those aspirations were met, she left to attend Culinary Art School in Portland, OR. Moving on to Warsaw, Indiana where she worked with Biomet. Eventually moving back to the city who had her heart and fulfilling a dream of owning and operating her own businesses Happy Home Junk Removal and her food cart TGIFrybread Stand.
Candice is survived by her companion of 15 years James H Orr of Portland, OR, parents Len and Amelia (RedHorn) Abrams, and Bruce (Sandy) Denny and her baby Oreo. Grand-aunt Virginia Beavert, Uncles Andy Buzzy George, Thomas Tex George Jr., Reggie George. Aunts Regina Wheeler, Gwen Leonard, Anita George, Rose George, Theresa Selam, Lucetta Barney. Brothers and Sisters Sam Abrams, Leon Abrams, Pete RedHorn III, Maurice RedHorn II, Rhonda RedHorn, Alexandria RedHorn, Eileen RedHorn, Amanda RedHorn-Howell, Dawn Denny, Kim Denny, Misty Denny, Barbara Denny, Dan Denny, Duane Denny, Shelly Denny, Brandy Denny, Tye Denny, Rose Lee, Bubba Costello, and David Lee.
Preceded in death by maternal grandparents Pete & Eileen George RedHorn, great grandparents Jesse & Amelia Dick George, Uncles Jesse RedHorn, Maurice RedHorn I, Richard Mokey George, Aunts Susan RedHorn, Carol J George, brother Earnie Denny and Best Friend Gabriel Mancilla.
Dressing services will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Wapato. Overnight services will follow at the White Swan Community Center Saturday and Sunday. Burial will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 leaving at 8:00 am to the Methodist Cemetery in White Swan.
