Candelario “Gónzalo” Galindo It is with a heavy heart and great sense of sadness that we announce the passing of our Apa Candelario “Gonzalo” Galindo on August 23, 2023. Candelario “Gonzalo” Galindo was born February 2nd 1951 to Florentino Galindo and Ofelia Moreno de Galindo, en Durango, Durango Mexico. he attended school up until the 2nd grade and at the young age of 8 our Apá began living and working with a family, transporting tar onto the roof tops of houses being built. With not much education our Apa was determined and taught himself to read and write. Our Apá continued to work hard not only to help support his family, but also for himself to survive. At the age of 17 he met the love of his life Silvia Perez Ciriano. In 1977 our Parents decided to move to the United States to give their children a better life and a better future. Our Apa worked hard and he worked along side his wife and children, teaching his children the value of perseverance and sacrifice. After the loss of his wife in 2008 he found his forever companion and love, María Guadalupe Sanchez. Although our Apá wasn’t given the love he needed growing up as a child, Our Apa was a man with little words. He was patient, kind, selfless, faithful, and humble. He will continue his love and legacy within all of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Apá, es un honor ser hijos de Usted. Gracias por siempre llenar nuestras vidas con tanto amor y alegria. Su sacrificio y dedicación como padre siempre será inigualable. Siempre será nuestro héroe. He is survived by his partner María Guadalupe Sanchez, his sons Martin Galindo (Ana), Juan (Rosa) Galindo Antonio (Diana) Galindo, Cesar (Gloria) Galindo Hector Galindo. His only daughter Cindy (Daniel) Wagner, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Silvia Galindo, son Gonzalo Galindo, daughter in law Angelica Galindo, grandson Matthew George and his parents.
