Bonnie Renken

Bonnie Joan Renken, 57, of Yakima died Thursday at home. Ms. Renken was born in Lynwood, Calif., and moved to Yakima from the Tri-Cities 30 years ago. She was a nurse at Prosser Memorial Hospital, becoming disabled 15 years ago. Survivors include three sons, Casey McCarthy of Centralia, Shane McCarthy of Middleton, Idaho, and Brandon McCarthy of Sequim; her father, John Renken of Yakima; two brothers, Roger Renken of Seattle and James Renken of Sequim; and nine grandchildren. A private family gathering will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory of Yakima.
