Billie McDaniels, 96, passed away on August 23, 2017 in the city of Yakima. Billie was born in Danville, Virginia to Lorenzo Dow and Julia Epperly Blair on July 19, 1921. She graduated from Sunnyside High School and attended Multnomah School of the Bible. She married Arthur McDaniels on October 24, 1942 in Joplin, Missouri. She worked as a bookkeeper in the water department for the city of Yakima for many years. She was involved in Christian Women’s Club, Bible Study Fellowship, Kay Arthur Precepts Ministry and Child Evangelism. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and will be greatly missed. She left a powerful and influential legacy of faith in Christ that continues to mark the generations behind her. Billie is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur McDaniels; three sisters, Mildred, Elizabeth, Martha; one brother LD; nephew Jeffrey Blair and great granddaughter Lilly Blair. Billie is survived by her sister Carol (Ted) Lukkes; son Dale (Pam) McDaniels; daughters Martha (Richard) Zook; Kathryn (Floyd) Lukkes; Sandra (Gary) Barrett; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Billie’s family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Gabriel Lascar, Highgate Senior Living Retirement Home, and Memorial Hospice Services.
