Beverly Koekkoek

Beverly Joyce Koekkoek "Van Winkle", 88, of Zillah passed away August 10, 2017 in Sunnyside, WA. She was born May 3, 1929 in Lynden, WA to Theodore and Hattie TeSelle. Beverly attended Lynden Christian School and was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, and bird watching. She was a member of “Birds of a Feather” and the Zillah Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Koekkoek. She is survived by her sons, Ralph (Ann) VanWinkle of Lynnwood, Roy (Ramona) of Stanwood and Glen Van Winkle of Camano Island; daughter, Barbara (Jim) Halverson of Stanwood; brothers, Vernon TeSelle and Norman (Esther) TeSelle; sister, Maxine (Larry) Greidanus; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 9-11am on Friday, Aug. 25, 2017 at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah. Memorial services will follow at 1:00pm at the Zillah Church of the Nazarene.
