Beverly, 84, of Renton, WA passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, Aug. 11th, 2013.
She was born to Norman and Myrtle Chapman on March 6th, 1929. She grew up in Wapato and graduated from Wapato High School. Life took her to many areas of the Northwest because of her ex-husband’s job. She moved to Seattle in 1954, but she always considered the Wapato area as her home.
She is survived by 2 daughters - Peni Church & Teri Tilden (Bill), her brother Larry Chapman, 7 grandchildren, & 12 great-grandchildren.
Beverly is preceded in death by Ronald Dale (son), Myrtle Chapman (mother), Norman Chapman (father), Norma Hill (sister), Rodney Chapman (brother), and Gene Church (son-in-law).
She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. She loved spending time with family, friends, her cat, Tommy, as well as gardening and walking.
Beverly had an infectious smile that could light up a room. Having a house full of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren always made her smile, warmed her heart and made the day a very special one. She will be greatly missed by both family and friends.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at Reservation Community Memorial Park near Wapato. Address is 5161 W. Wapato Rd., at 2 PM Aug. 19th. Share your memories of Beverly online at www.valleyhillsfh.com.
