Bernardita Martinez

Bernardita Regina Martinez Regina was born on April 16,1975 in Prosser,WA. to Florentino and Sandra Martinez. She went to Grandview High School where she graduated with the class of 1993. Moved to Florida 2010 and graduated with her LPN License in 2012. She had a heart of gold caring for small children and the elderly. Jina was “Mother Hen” to all of us. There wasn’t anything Jina wouldn’t do for ANYONE. She had so much love to give she fostered our nephew which became her pride and joy “Cel Sok Matinez” (Marcel Stark Martinez.) She leaves behind a big hole in our hearts and will be remembered always. She was a true “shopaholic “ and avid Seahawks fan. Regina cared for small children early on in life working at EPIC in Prosser, Washington State Migrant Counsel in Whitstran. She also enjoyed caring for the elderly beginning with her “Lita” Rosa and then later in life working at Sun Terrace in Sunnyside, Brookdale Nursing Home in Yakima and ending her career at Chandler House also in Yakima. She is survived by her mother Sandra L. Martinez Seven siblings Hijinio N. Martinez (Kristal), Criselda O. Martinez (Tyee), Florentino A. Martinez (Carla), Juan M.Martinez (Tonia), Luz Y. Lipp (Michael), Valentin O.Martinez (Tara), Rocio V. Martinez (Daniel),17 nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her father Florentino Martinez and her Maternal Grandparents Manuel and Rosa Morado.
