Barbara Cox

Barbara Louise Cox, born November 1, 1939; left the arms of her family to the home of her savior after a long fought battle with cancer on May 22, 2019. Barbara was born in Toppenish, Wa. and graduated from Sunnyside High School. She raised her family in Grandview with her husband of over 60 years. Barbara loved to travel by cruise, motorhome, or car. She enjoyed out fishing anyone in the same boat as her, and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Cox; three children, John Cox of Sunnyside, Cindy Howe of Prosser, and Linda Page of Colville, Wa; four grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren that she absolutely adored. She is also survived by her 2 sisters, Norma Shinn of Sunnyside and Janet Brown of Moses Lake; 1 brother, Richard Mason of Boise, ID and brother in law, Ronald Mason of Sunnyside, WA. Barbara was proceeded in death by her parents, Jack and Evelyn Mason. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1st at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside, WA at 12:00 p.m. - graveside services will follow at the Grandview Cemetery.
