Barbara Afaga-Bryan

Barbara Jean Afaga-Bryan passed away in her sleep on July 5, 2017 into God's loving arms. Barbara was born on September 19, 1960 to Senador and Dorothy Afaga in Yakima. She grew up in the Yakima Valley where she met her husband John Bryan. Barbara was a very loving mother, sister and an all around happy soul to everyone around her. She loved to play her guitar for the church and children's programs. She is most well known for her holiday baking, her funny inappropriate cakes and pretty much anything else to put a smile on everyone's faces. She will be missed by many. Barbara is preceded in death by her father Senador Afaga and her husband John Bryan. She is survived by her daughter Mackenzie Bryan, her two brothers Junior and John Afaga, her mother Dorothy Afaga, and her partner John Long. A viewing will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Friday, July 14, 2017 at Valley Hills Funeral Home & Crematory (2600 Business Lane, Yakima).
