Aurora Vargas (Herrera), 105, of Sunnyside died March , 2016 in Sunnyside, surrounded by her family. She was born Sept. 9, 1910 the daughter of Antonio Vargas and Maria Hernandez. She is survived by six sons, Cruz Pasillas (wife Maria Del Refugio) from Mexico, Luis Pasillas (wife Maria) from Texas, Angel Herrera (wife Zenaida) from Sunnyside, David Herrera (wife Maria Del Socorro) from Sunnyside, Angeles Herrera (wife Teresa) from Colorado, Jaime Herrera from Mexico; two daughters Abelina Pasillas from Mexico and Eva Maria Herrera from Sunnyside; one sister, Celia Vargas from Mexico and two brothers, Jesus Vargas from California and Sabino Vargas from Illinois. 60 grandchildren, 128 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Juan Pasillas and Cruz Herrera, and four siblings Ambrosio, Jose Manuel, Pancho, and Leonor Vargas. Viewing and visitation and a celebration of Aurora’s life will be Monday, March 7, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Jesus Christ in Sunnyside. Services will be held on 10:00 am Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the Apostolic Assembly Church, graveside service will follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens.
